She has been actively involved in pro bono assignments since her retirement, drawing on her expertise in strategic thinking, fundraising, and lobbying at the state and federal levels.

Heather has earned multiple awards for her civic and professional accomplishments. She has worked on a number of local and international boards that promote the arts, education, international industry, refugee resettlement, and Third World health and development. Heather’s interest in women in politics started when she was extremely active in the Women’s Movement. She was one of only two women chosen as International Business Fellows in 1988. It is also an honor for her to be the co-founder of NewPower PAC.

Since her retirement, Heather is frequently engaged in pro bono assignments calling on her background in strategic thinking, fundraising, and lobbying at the local and Federal levels.

Heather has been awarded many honors for her civic and professional accomplishments. She has served on a number of local and international boards supporting the arts, education, international business, resettlement of refugees, and health and development in the Third World. Her interest in women in politics began when she was extremely active in the Women’s Movement. In 1988 she was one of only two females selected as International Business Fellows. She is proud to be counted among the founders of NewPower PAC.
